Adios a Carlos Sthor

Carlos Sthor |
Today a friend, an artist, among other things, passed away. He has gone to other skies and other seas... To rest some time, no doubt... To feel light and energic, like he never has since quite some time...
It was a pleasure meeting him, with his singular stories from there (Praga) and from here (Margarita Island, Venezuela) and his particular way of living life. With his peculiar nicknames for his family and friends. Excellent professional too, beeing kee to important ingenieering projects.
Today, a friend has departed, he did not wait for the New Year. What for? I think he knew that in Heaven there are better things waiting for him because when you do not have health you do not fit either in earth. Overthere he will be on a perfect Margarita Island forever... Singing and playing the "Cuatro" as always...
R.I.P Big hug to his family

This piece is participating on the art show: "Devotions" at Museo Sacro de Caracas, Plaza Bolivar from November 11th till December 14th. The curator is the renowned Artist Orlando Campos. It describes a passage in the life of St. Nicholas of Bari, whom I give a contemporary look as the simple but generous man he was. He made a donation of a bag of gold to each one of three girls that did not have the means to get married in Myra (Now Turky) at the II Century a.C. This man used to give little toys to children, putting them on their socks that they used to hang near the fireplace. He was ordered Bishop very young, and he started to make miracles too. He called on Virgen Mary for this miracles. He died of 72 years old and continued makig miracles ever since.
